Custom Jacquard Socks for Sports Teams: The Complete Ordering Guide (2026)
Custom jacquard socks are the ultimate team accessory for sports teams, schools, leagues, and athletic programs. Unlike printed socks that fade after a few washes, jacquard weaving integrates your team logo, colors, and player numbers directly into the sock fabric — creating a design that lasts as long as the sock itself. For teams that practice and compete multiple times per week, durability matters, and jacquard socks deliver. After producing custom team socks for over 300 sports teams across the US, Canada, UK, and Australia — from youth rec leagues to NCAA Division I programs — we have learned exactly what works for teams, and what mistakes to avoid.
This guide is written specifically for team coaches, athletic directors, team managers, league organizers, and school procurement teams. It covers everything you need to know: why jacquard socks are the best choice for sports teams, how to choose the right specifications, design guidelines for team logos and numbers, the full ordering process, budget planning, sport-specific recommendations, quality standards, and how to avoid the most common mistakes that teams make when ordering custom socks. We also share real team case studies and insider tips from our production floor.
From Our Factory Floor: The 3 Biggest Mistakes Teams Make When Ordering Custom Socks
After working with hundreds of sports teams, our customer service team has identified the three mistakes that cause the most frustration, wasted budget, and missed deadlines. Knowing these before you place your first order can save you thousands of dollars and weeks of delay:
- Mistake #1: Waiting until the last minute to order before the season starts. About 45% of team sock orders are placed in July-August, right before the fall sports season — when our factory is already at peak capacity. This leads to rushed production, limited design options, and sometimes missed delivery deadlines. We have had teams receive their socks after the first game of the season because they ordered too late. Our recommendation: place fall season orders by June 15 at the latest. This gives you time for design revisions, sample approval, production, and shipping — all without the summer rush stress. We even offer a “early bird” discount for orders placed before May 31.
- Mistake #2: Ordering too few pairs and running out mid-season. About 30% of teams order exactly the number of players on the roster, with no extras. Then they lose players to injury, add new players mid-season, or socks get lost or damaged — and they have no extras. Reordering mid-season means paying rush fees and waiting 3-4 weeks for delivery. Our recommendation: order 20-30% more pairs than your current roster. For a 20-player team, order 25-30 pairs. The extras can be used for new players, lost socks, coaching staff, or fundraising. The extra cost is minimal (about $50-$100 for a typical team), and it saves you from the headache of mid-season reorders.
- Mistake #3: Skipping the sample step for large orders. About 25% of teams want to skip the sample step to save time, especially for large orders. “We trust you, just make 200 pairs,” they say. But a $50 sample is the best insurance policy you can buy — it lets you verify the color, logo placement, fit, and quality before committing to a 200-pair order. We have had teams receive bulk orders from other suppliers where the color was wrong, the logo was distorted, or the socks didn’t fit — all problems that would have been caught with a sample. We require samples for all new team clients, and we credit the sample fee toward your bulk order.
Real Team Case Study: How a High School Football Program Built a $12,000/Year Fundraising Program with Custom Socks
One of our most successful team clients is a high school football program in Texas with 80 players across varsity, JV, and freshman teams (details anonymized for client privacy). Here is how their custom sock program evolved over 3 years:
- Year 1 (Test): The athletic director ordered 100 pairs of knee-high socks with the school logo and team colors, for the varsity team only. Cost: ~$4.50/pair including shipping. The players loved the socks — they wore them to every game and practice, and parents started asking where they could buy pairs. The athletic director ordered 50 extra pairs and sold them to parents and fans at $20/pair. Sold out in 2 weeks. Profit: ~$775.
- Year 2 (Expand): The program expanded to include all three teams (varsity, JV, freshman) — 250 pairs for players. They also ordered 300 extra pairs for fundraising, with 3 color options (home, away, and a special “throwback” design). Cost dropped to ~$3.20/pair with higher volume. They sold the extra pairs at football games, the school store, and online through a simple Google Form. Sold 280 of 300 pairs at $20/pair. Profit: ~$4,700. They used the money to buy new equipment and fund travel expenses.
- Year 3 (Scale): The program added other sports teams — basketball, soccer, baseball, and track — all using custom socks with their respective team logos and colors. Total annual order: 1,200 pairs. Cost: ~$2.50/pair. They created a “sock subscription” for fans — $30/year for 3 pairs (one per season). 150 fans signed up, generating $4,500 in recurring revenue. Total annual sock revenue: ~$12,000. The athletic director estimates that custom socks now fund 15% of the entire athletic program’s budget.
- Culture impact: Beyond fundraising, the custom socks became a symbol of school pride and team unity. Players took pride in wearing their team socks, and it created a stronger team culture. The school’s principal reported that school spirit increased significantly, and the socks became a conversation starter at games and school events.
The key lesson? Custom team socks are not just a uniform item — they are a powerful fundraising tool and culture-building asset. Starting small (our 10-pair minimum makes this easy), testing colors and pricing, and then scaling based on real sales data is the formula for success. This high school program started with a $450 test order and built a $12,000/year fundraising program within 3 years.
Why Jacquard Socks Are the Best Choice for Sports Teams
When you are ordering socks for a sports team, you need them to survive an entire season of practices, games, washes, and travel. Here is why jacquard socks outperform every other option, based on our experience with sports teams:
1. Unmatched Durability
Jacquard logos are woven into the fabric during production — they are not printed on top, not heat-transferred, and not glued on. This means the logo will never fade, peel, crack, or wash off, no matter how many times the socks are washed. A typical team sock gets washed 2-3 times per week during a season — that is 50-100 washes over a single season. Printed socks will look faded and worn by mid-season; jacquard socks will look as crisp as the day they arrived. We have had teams tell us that their jacquard socks still look brand new after an entire season of use, while their printed socks from previous years were unwearable by mid-season.
2. Team Identity and Unity
Matching custom socks create a sense of team identity and unity. When every player walks onto the field or court wearing the same team socks with the same logo and colors, it sends a message of professionalism and cohesion. Players take pride in wearing team-branded gear, and it builds team spirit. Many coaches report that custom team socks improve player morale and create a stronger team culture. We have had coaches tell us that their players specifically look forward to getting their team socks at the start of the season, and that it creates a sense of belonging and pride.
3. Professional Appearance
First impressions matter in sports. A team that shows up with matching custom socks looks organized, prepared, and professional — whether it is for a game, a tournament, or a team photo. Referees, opponents, and spectators notice the details. Custom socks elevate your team’s appearance and show that you take your sport seriously. We have had coaches tell us that opposing teams and referees have commented on how professional their team looks with custom socks, and that it gives them a psychological advantage before the game even starts.
4. Fundraising and Revenue Opportunity
Many teams use custom socks as a fundraising tool. You can order extra pairs and sell them to parents, fans, alumni, and community members. Team socks are popular merchandise items — they are affordable, practical, and show team support. A typical team can sell 50-100 extra pairs at $15-$25 per pair, generating $750-$2,500 in revenue to help cover equipment costs, travel expenses, or tournament fees. As the case study above shows, a well-executed sock fundraising program can generate $5,000-$12,000 per year for a school athletic program. The key is to order extra pairs (20-30% more than your roster), price them at $15-$25/pair, and sell them at games, the school store, and online.

How to Choose the Right Socks for Your Team
The right specifications depend on your sport, budget, and preferences. Here are the key decisions, based on our experience with sports teams:
Sock Length by Sport
| Sport | Recommended Length | Why | Team Popularity |
|---|---|---|---|
| Soccer / Football | Knee-high or over-the-calf | Required to cover shin guards; provides compression and protection | 25% of team orders |
| Basketball | Crew or mid-calf | Classic basketball look; provides ankle support and moisture management | 20% of team orders |
| Running / Track | Ankle or quarter | Lightweight, breathable, minimal coverage for hot conditions | 10% of team orders |
| Football (American) | Knee-high or over-the-calf | Covers shin guards; provides padding and compression | 15% of team orders |
| Hockey | Knee-high or over-the-calf | Fits under shin pads; moisture-wicking for cold rinks | 5% of team orders |
| Baseball / Softball | Crew or mid-calf | Classic baseball look; comfortable for long games | 10% of team orders |
| Volleyball | Crew or quarter | Provides ankle support; grip on gym floors | 5% of team orders |
| Lacrosse | Knee-high or crew | Protection and compression; fits under equipment | 5% of team orders |
| General / Multi-Sport | Crew | Most versatile; works for virtually any sport | 5% of team orders |
Material and Performance Features
For sports teams, performance matters as much as appearance. Here are the material options and features to consider, based on our team clients’ preferences:
- Acrylic / polyester blend (most common for teams — 65% of team orders) — Excellent moisture-wicking, quick-drying, durable, and affordable. Acrylic blends are the standard for team sports socks because they perform well during intense activity and hold up to frequent washing. Typical composition: 85% acrylic / 10% nylon / 5% elastane.
- Cotton blend (20% of team orders) — Soft and comfortable, but absorbs moisture (not ideal for high-sweat sports). Better for low-intensity sports, casual wear, or cooler weather. Typical composition: 80% cotton / 15% polyester / 5% elastane.
- Compression blend (nylon / spandex) (10% of team orders) — Graduated compression improves blood flow, reduces muscle fatigue, and speeds recovery. Popular for running, basketball, and recovery. Slightly more expensive but offers performance benefits.
- Reinforced heel and toe (standard on all our team socks) — Essential for team sports. The heel and toe are the highest-wear areas, and reinforcement significantly extends sock life. All our team socks include reinforced heels and toes at no extra cost.
- Arch support / elastic arch band (75% of team orders add this) — A snug elastic band around the arch provides support, prevents the sock from shifting inside the shoe, and reduces foot fatigue. Recommended for running, basketball, and high-impact sports.
- Mesh ventilation panels (40% of team orders add this) — Mesh knit areas on the top of the foot improve breathability and reduce overheating. Popular for summer sports, running, and basketball.
- Cushioned sole / terry loop footbed (60% of team orders add this) — Extra padding under the foot absorbs impact and improves comfort. Recommended for basketball, running, football, and any sport with high impact on hard surfaces.
Knit Density (Needle Count)
The knit density determines the thickness, softness, and durability of the sock:
- 144N (standard — 70% of team orders) — The most common density for team sports socks. Good balance of durability, comfort, and affordability. Suitable for most sports and budgets.
- 168N (premium — 25% of team orders) — Finer knit, softer feel, more detailed logo reproduction. Slightly more expensive but offers a premium look and feel. Recommended for teams that want a higher-quality product.
- 200N (luxury — 5% of team orders) — Finest knit, maximum softness, best detail. Most expensive. Typically used for premium dress socks or high-end athletic brands. For most teams, 144N or 168N is sufficient.
Design Guidelines for Team Jacquard Socks
Designing team socks is fun, but there are some important limitations to keep in mind for jacquard weaving. Following these guidelines will ensure your design looks great when produced, based on our experience with team designs:
Team Logo Design Tips
- Keep it bold and simple — Jacquard weaving works best with bold, high-contrast designs. Fine details, small text, and intricate illustrations may not reproduce clearly. Simplify your logo to its essential elements. About 40% of team logos need some simplification for best jacquard results — our design team handles this for you at no extra cost.
- Limit colors to 4-6 per design area — Most sock knitting machines can handle 4-6 colors in the logo area. This does not include the sock body color, cuff color, heel color, or toe color — those are separate sections and do not count against the logo color limit.
- Use high contrast — Your logo should contrast clearly with the sock background color. A dark logo on a light sock (or vice versa) reproduces best. Low-contrast color combinations (e.g., navy on black) may be difficult to see.
- Avoid gradients and fine lines — Jacquard weaving cannot produce smooth gradients. Each stitch is a single solid color. Fine lines (below 1mm equivalent) may not reproduce consistently. If your logo has gradients or fine lines, our design team will simplify it for best results.
- Logo size — For crew socks, the logo area is typically 2-3 inches wide. For knee-high socks, the logo can be larger (3-4 inches). Larger logos reproduce better than very small ones.

Player Numbers and Names
Adding player numbers to team socks is a popular option — about 35% of our team orders include individual player numbers. Here is what you need to know:
- Number placement — Numbers are typically placed on the side of the sock (near the ankle) or on the cuff. Side placement is most common and visible when wearing shoes.
- Number size — We recommend numbers at least 0.5 inches (12mm) tall for best readability. Larger numbers reproduce better.
- Font choice — Bold, blocky fonts (like Arial Bold, Impact, or collegiate-style fonts) reproduce best. Thin, script, or decorative fonts may not be legible in jacquard.
- Individual number cost — There is a small additional charge per pair for individual numbers (typically $0.30-$0.80 per pair, depending on quantity). This covers the additional machine setup time for each number.
- Provide a roster — When ordering numbered socks, provide a spreadsheet listing each player’s name, number, and sock size. We will produce each pair with the correct number and organize them by player for easy distribution.
Color Blocking and Design Elements
Beyond the logo, you can customize the entire sock design using color blocking:
- Cuff color — The top ribbed band can be a different color from the sock body. Popular for team color accents (e.g., white sock with navy cuff). About 60% of team orders use a contrasting cuff color.
- Heel and toe color — The heel and toe can be contrasting colors (e.g., white sock with red heel and toe). This is a classic team sock look. About 50% of team orders use contrasting heel and toe colors.
- Stripes — Horizontal stripes at the cuff or around the sock are easy to produce and add visual interest. Two-tone and three-tone stripes are common. About 30% of team orders include stripes.
- All-over patterns — Repeating patterns (checkers, dots, stripes, camouflage) can be woven across the entire sock. Great for bold team identities or special event socks. About 10% of team orders use all-over patterns.
- Left/right different designs — You can have different designs on the left and right sock (e.g., “LEFT” and “RIGHT” text, or two halves of a larger logo). There is a small additional setup fee for asymmetric designs.
The Team Sock Ordering Process
Understanding the process helps you plan timelines — especially important if you need socks before the season starts or a specific tournament. Here is the step-by-step process from initial inquiry to delivery, based on our standard team order workflow:
Step 1: Design Consultation and Quote (1-2 days)
Send your team logo, desired specifications (sport, quantity, sock length, material, colors), and any reference images or design ideas. Our design team will create a digital mockup showing your logo and colors on the sock, along with a detailed quote. This is the time to request design changes — we offer unlimited revisions to the digital mockup until you are completely satisfied. Most teams go through 2-3 design revisions before finalizing the design.
Step 2: Sample Production (3 days)
Once you approve the digital mockup, we produce a physical sample. This is critical — you need to see and feel the actual sock, test the fit and comfort, verify the logo quality and colors, and make sure the design meets your expectations. Sample cost is typically $30-$80 (including express shipping), and is credited toward your bulk order. We strongly recommend never skipping the sample step — a $50 sample can save you from receiving 200 pairs of socks that don’t meet your team’s standards. We require samples for all new team clients.
Step 3: Bulk Production (10-15 days)
After you approve the sample, bulk production begins. The socks are knit with your custom colors and logo, inspected, paired, and packaged. For orders under 500 pairs, production typically takes 10-15 business days. Larger orders (500+ pairs) may take 15-20 days. Season tip: If you need socks before the fall sports season (August-September), place your order by June-July at the latest — summer is our busiest production season for team socks, with about 40% of annual team orders placed in June-August. We offer a “early bird” discount for orders placed before May 31.
Step 4: Quality Inspection (2-3 days)
Before shipping, every pair is inspected for logo quality, color accuracy, sizing, and construction defects. Socks are then paired and packaged. If you ordered individual player numbers, we verify that each pair has the correct number and organize them by player for easy distribution. We inspect 100% of pairs — no sampling. Our quality control team has over 10 years of experience in sock production, and they catch defects that other factories miss.
Step 5: Shipping (3-7 days)
Express shipping (DHL, FedEx, UPS) takes 3-5 business days to the US and Europe. Standard air freight takes 7-10 days. For large team orders, sea freight is available (25-35 days) at a lower cost per pair — but only if you have plenty of lead time. Most teams choose express shipping for reliability and tracking. Total timeline from order to delivery: Approximately 3-4 weeks for standard orders. Plan accordingly and order early to avoid last-minute rushes.
Budget Planning: How Much Do Team Socks Cost?
The total cost depends on quantity, specifications, and customization. Here is a realistic budget breakdown for a typical team order, based on our actual 2026 factory-direct pricing:
Sample Cost Breakdown (100 pairs, crew length, acrylic blend, jacquard logo, no individual numbers)
| Cost Item | Amount | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Sock unit cost | $2.50 – $3.50/pair | Depends on quantity and material |
| Logo setup / programming | $0 – $30 (one-time) | Waived for orders of 50+ pairs |
| Individual player numbers | $0.30 – $0.80/pair | Only if you choose numbered socks |
| Custom packaging | $0.20 – $0.50/pair | Custom labels or team bags; standard OPP bags are free |
| Sample fee | $30 – $80 (one-time) | Credited toward bulk order |
| Shipping (express) | $0.50 – $1.00/pair | Depends on total weight and destination |
| Total landed cost (standard) | $3.50 – $5.00/pair | All costs included, delivered to your door |
| Total landed cost (with numbers) | $4.00 – $6.00/pair | Includes individual player numbers |
Quantity Discount Tiers
| Order Quantity | Estimated Unit Cost (sock only) | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| 10 – 49 pairs | $4.00 – $6.00 | Small teams, sample orders, coaching staff |
| 50 – 99 pairs | $3.00 – $4.50 | Single team (players + coaches + extras) |
| 100 – 299 pairs | $2.50 – $3.50 | Most common team order size |
| 300 – 499 pairs | $2.20 – $3.00 | Multiple teams or league-wide orders |
| 500 – 999 pairs | $1.90 – $2.60 | Large leagues, schools with multiple sports |
| 1,000+ pairs | $1.50 – $2.20 | Enterprise, large athletic programs, fundraising |
Budget tip: Ordering extra pairs for fundraising can lower your overall cost. For example, if you need 30 pairs for your team, ordering 100 pairs reduces the per-unit cost by 30-40%, and you can sell the extra 70 pairs to parents and fans at $15-$20 each — potentially covering the entire cost of the team’s socks and generating additional revenue for the program. As the case study above shows, a well-executed sock fundraising program can generate $5,000-$12,000 per year for a school athletic program. The key is to order extra pairs, price them appropriately, and sell them at games, the school store, and online.
Sport-Specific Recommendations
Different sports have different requirements for socks. Here are our recommendations for the most popular team sports, based on our experience with sports teams:
Soccer / Football
Length: Knee-high or over-the-calf (must cover shin guards). Material: Acrylic/polyester blend with moisture-wicking. Features: Reinforced heel and toe, arch support, cushioned sole for impact absorption. Design: Team logo on the calf, player number on the side, team colors throughout. Tip: For soccer, the sock is part of the uniform — make sure your colors match your jersey and shorts exactly. Soccer is our most popular team sport, accounting for about 25% of our team orders.
Basketball
Length: Crew or mid-calf (classic basketball look). Material: Acrylic blend with moisture-wicking and quick-dry properties. Features: Cushioned sole for hardwood impact, arch support, mesh ventilation for breathability. Design: Bold team logo, player numbers, team colors. Basketball socks are a fashion statement — don’t be afraid to go bold with patterns and colors. Tip: Many basketball teams match sock colors to their jersey colors for home and away games. Basketball is our second most popular team sport, accounting for about 20% of our team orders.
Running / Track and Field
Length: Ankle or quarter (lightweight, minimal coverage). Material: Lightweight polyester/nylon blend with maximum moisture-wicking. Features: Arch support, seamless toe for blister prevention, mesh ventilation, no-cushion or light-cushion sole for ground feel. Design: Team logo on the ankle or side, subtle colors. Tip: For running, fit and blister prevention are more important than bold design. Choose a lightweight, seamless sock.
Football (American)
Length: Knee-high or over-the-calf. Material: Durable acrylic blend with moisture-wicking. Features: Extra cushioning in the sole and shin area for impact protection, arch support, reinforced heel and toe. Design: Team logo, player numbers, team colors. Tip: Football socks take a beating — choose a durable material and reinforced construction. Football is our third most popular team sport, accounting for about 15% of our team orders.
Baseball / Softball
Length: Crew or mid-calf. Material: Acrylic blend with moisture-wicking. Features: Cushioned sole, arch support, reinforced heel and toe. Design: Team logo, team colors, classic baseball sock look with striped cuffs. Tip: Baseball socks are often worn with stirrups — if your team uses stirrups, we can produce plain socks designed to be worn under stirrups.
Quality Standards for Team Socks
When your team takes the field, the quality of your socks reflects on your program. Here is what to inspect when your order arrives — these are the same quality standards we enforce on our factory floor:
- Logo quality — The jacquard logo should be clear, well-defined, and evenly knitted. No skipped stitches, distorted elements, or loose threads. The logo should look the same on every pair. We inspect 100% of pairs for logo quality.
- Color accuracy — All colors (sock body, cuff, heel, toe, logo) should match your approved sample and team color specifications. Compare side-by-side with your team’s other uniform items. We maintain an inventory of 500+ thread colors and can match virtually any team color within ΔE < 2.0.
- Number accuracy (if applicable) — Each pair should have the correct player number. Verify against your roster. Numbers should be straight, legible, and consistently placed. Our team verifies every numbered pair against the roster before packaging.
- Sizing consistency — All pairs in the same size should fit consistently. Try on a few pairs to verify the fit is as expected.
- Construction quality — Check the toe seam (should be smooth and even), heel (well-formed and reinforced), and cuff (good elasticity, not too tight or too loose). No holes, runs, or manufacturing defects.
- Pair matching — Each pair should be identical in color, logo, number, and size. Mismatched pairs are a common quality issue in cheap production. We pair-match every pair by hand before packaging.
- Inside comfort — Turn the sock inside out and check for excessive loose threads or rough areas that could cause blisters or discomfort during activity. Our finishing team trims every pair by hand and removes all excess loose threads.

What is the minimum order for custom team jacquard socks?
Our factory minimum is 10 pairs per design/color. This is significantly lower than the industry standard of 50-100 pairs, making custom team socks accessible for small teams, rec leagues, and individual players. You can order 10 pairs of one color/design and 10 pairs of another — each design counts separately for minimum purposes. For most teams, order quantities range from 30 to 200 pairs. About 40% of our team orders are in the 50-99 pair range, 30% are 100-299 pairs, and 30% are 30-49 pairs.
Can I get a sample before ordering for the whole team?
Yes — we strongly recommend it, and we require samples for all new team clients. Samples are produced in 3 days and shipped via express courier (3-5 days delivery). The sample fee ($30-$80 including shipping) is typically credited toward your bulk order. This ensures you are completely satisfied with the fit, feel, logo quality, and colors before committing to a larger order for the entire team. We also offer “sample packs” with multiple color options if you are deciding between designs. A $50 sample is the best insurance policy you can buy — it can save you from receiving 200 pairs of socks that don’t meet your team’s standards.
How do I know what size to order for each player?
Most team socks are available in multiple sizes based on US shoe size: Small (Youth 12-4 / Women’s 4-6), Medium (Women’s 6-10 / Men’s 5-8), Large (Men’s 8-12), X-Large (Men’s 12-15). We provide a size chart with your quote. For teams, we recommend asking each player for their shoe size and ordering accordingly. If you are unsure, it is generally better to size up — socks that are slightly too big are more comfortable than socks that are too tight. We also offer one-size-fits-most options for casual or low-budget orders.
Can I order different colors for home and away games?
Yes — many teams order two sets: one for home games and one for away games. Each color/design counts as a separate order for minimum purposes (so you need at least 10 pairs of each color). Ordering two designs at once can sometimes qualify for a small bulk discount — ask about multi-design pricing when you request your quote. Make sure both designs use the same logo and consistent branding for a cohesive team identity. About 25% of our team clients order multiple colors/designs in a single order.
How should team socks be washed and cared for?
To maximize the lifespan of your team socks: wash in cold or warm water (30-40°C / 85-105°F), avoid bleach (it weakens fibers and fades colors), avoid fabric softener (it coats moisture-wicking fibers and reduces performance), and tumble dry on low heat or air dry. Do not iron. Following these guidelines will keep your socks looking and performing like new for an entire season and beyond. The jacquard logo will never fade or peel — it is woven into the fabric and will last as long as the sock itself. We have had teams tell us that their jacquard socks still look brand new after an entire season of use, while their printed socks from previous years were unwearable by mid-season.
Can you produce socks with our exact team/Pantone colors?
We have 50+ standard stock colors available at no extra cost, including most common team colors (navy, royal blue, red, cardinal, maroon, green, forest green, gold, yellow, orange, purple, black, white, gray, and more). If you need a custom color that matches your exact Pantone or brand color, custom dyeing is available for a small setup fee ($30-$80 per color) and adds 3-5 days to production. For most teams, our standard colors match common team colors closely enough. Send us your color references and we will recommend the closest stock color or advise on custom dyeing. We maintain an inventory of 500+ thread colors and can match virtually any team color within ΔE < 2.0.
What if some players don’t like the socks or they don’t fit?
This is why we strongly recommend ordering a sample first. The sample allows you (and your team captain or a few players) to test the fit, feel, and quality before committing to a bulk order. If the sample doesn’t meet your expectations, we can adjust the design, material, or size before production. Once bulk production begins, changes are difficult and may incur additional costs. For sizing issues after delivery, we can usually exchange unworn socks for different sizes — contact us with your order details and we will make it right. We want your entire team to be happy with their socks.
Can I combine team socks with other custom sock types in one order?
Yes — we produce a wide range of custom socks, including grip socks, embroidered socks, crew socks, ankle socks, compression socks, and dress socks. If your athletic program wants to offer multiple sock types (e.g., jacquard crew socks for basketball, grip socks for volleyball, compression socks for running), we can combine everything into one order with unified branding and consistent quality. This also saves on shipping costs — you only pay shipping once for the combined order. Many of our school athletic program clients start with one sport and then expand to other sports as their sock program grows. Let us know what you need and we will create a custom quote for your entire order. For schools and universities with multiple sports teams, also see our comprehensive guide for schools and colleges.
